Coach Terms
Last updated 28 October 2026
These terms apply to you if you use UrFitHub as a coach. They add to our Terms of Use and Community Guidelines, which also apply to you. If they conflict, these Coach Terms win for coaching matters.
1. Who can coach
- You must be 18 or over.
- You offer your coaching as an independent business, not as our employee, worker or agent. You decide what you post and what you charge, within the limits below.
- Your name, profile and specialty tags must be truthful. Only use a job title you are legally entitled to. In Ireland, titles such as dietitian and physiotherapist are protected by law and may only be used by professionals registered with CORU. Don’t pick a tag for a specialty you aren’t qualified for.
2. Your responsibility for clients’ safety
- Keep the qualifications, and professional indemnity and public liability insurance, that the services you offer need. We may ask to see them.
- Don’t diagnose or treat medical conditions unless you are a registered health professional acting within your registration. Tell clients to check with a doctor when a plan may not suit their health, especially where you offer adaptive or rehab coaching.
- Don’t promote dangerous practices, such as extreme calorie restriction, unprescribed drugs (including steroids), or “guaranteed” results.
- You are responsible for the advice and content you give. You agree to cover our losses if a claim is brought against us because of your content or advice, or because you broke these terms.
3. Getting paid
- Payouts are made through Stripe Connect. To be paid, you need a Stripe account and must complete Stripe’s identity checks. By setting up payouts you agree to the Stripe Connected Account Agreement, which includes the Stripe Services Agreement. Stripe can refuse or close a payout account under those terms.
- You set a monthly subscription price between €3 and €500. A new price applies only to new subscribers.
- We sell subscriptions to clients and collect the payments. For each payment, we keep a 15% platform fee and Stripe sends the remaining 85% to your Stripe account. Stripe’s payout timing applies.
- If we refund a client (for example, when they withdraw within 14 days under consumer law, or because of a problem with your content) or a payment is disputed, we may take back your share of that payment from your Stripe balance or from future payouts.
- You are responsible for your own income tax and any other tax on your earnings. The law may require us to collect information about you and report your earnings to Revenue or other tax authorities.
4. Your content
- Only post content you created or have permission to use. You keep ownership and give us the licence described in our Terms of Use.
- Subscriber-only content must deliver what you describe. Don’t take payment for content you don’t provide.
- Don’t ask clients to pay you outside UrFitHub for content you sell here.
5. Moderation and ending
- We may remove content, pause payouts or suspend your account if you break these terms or the law, and we will tell you why and how to ask us to review the decision.
- You can stop coaching at any time. When you close your coach account, your subscribers’ subscriptions are cancelled so they aren’t charged again. Money already owed to you is still paid out.
